?Godly Play is a new after school club at Trinity Rawdon for children between 6 – 9 years.  It is run by three X teachers and a classroom assistant.

Children are picked up from Rawdon Littlemoor on Thursday evenings (term time), taken to the new hall at the church and will be then provided with a snack followed by the Godly play session.

Each session runs until 5pm when parents are expected to pick the children up from the new hall.

Godly Play is a term coined by Jerome Berryman to describe an approach to children’s spiritual formation that is based on creating a sacred space in which to present the stories of faith, wonder about them together, and then allow the children open-ended opportunities, usually with art supplies, to engage the story on their own terms.

This is play. It is Godly.

Space is limited to 16 children and all members must have completed an application form.
