If you have time today read John 17. I was moved to tears as I read it this morning. The beautiful words that Jesus prays over his disciples are also prayed over you and me – I was blown away by this verse in particular and wanted to share it with you – so I have broken off my prayer time while its fresh in my mind.
Jesus says to the father:
John 17 v 20 “I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message. 21 I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me.
Jesus prayed over his disciples and he prays over us – how amazing is that?
So this day remember that you have been and will be prayed for till the end of time and like those first disciples your actions will bring glory to our father so lets determine to do something today which will do just that – let us be a light that shines in the darkness leading people to the one who prays over us.
